I have just one minor comment on the text:

Sentence on line 51, beginning "Many different observables...": you may want to change "are currently available from experiments: (list of experiments)" to something like "are currently available from experiments such as: (list of experiments)", otherwise it sounds like you should be listing observables, rather than experiments.

I like your use of the line-numbering style file. It makes comments on specific text very easy. Perhaps we should suggest this for all draft papers.
