Hello Viktor et al.,
Sorry for the late reply about your paper "A study of the P11 and D13
resonances from CLAS data on..." dated 5-7-12. It is evidently the
result of a lot of careful work on your part. I have just a few
suggestions to improve the wording in some places. The scientific
conclusions seem well-justified as far as I can tell.
page 2, column 2, line -4 from bottom: use "This kinematic DOMAIN is
of...."
page 3 paragraph 1, line 6: grammar problem. Use "The CLAS detector
HAS PROVIDED THE DOMINANT PORTION OF ALL DATA on meson
electroproduction..."
page 3, col 1, para 3, line 5: use "These are THE most extensive data
sets..."
page 3, para 2, line 13: I think you want the words "test whether"
instead of the words "verify if" here.
The next sentence "Is is the model independent...parameters" seems to
be out of place here, and actually doesn't really make sense. It adds
nothing to the discussion that I could see, so I recommend deleting
this sentence.
page 3, col 2, para 4, line 4: grammar problem: replace "possible to
access" with "possible access to"
page 13 & 14, Fig 4, Fig 5: I would remake these figures. There are
so many nearly-identical points and lines that the whole of the
figures are quite "murky" and hard to read. There must be some way to
clear up the figures, perhaps by plotting only the two extreme cases
in each panel.
I did not get a chance to read every paragraph in detail, sorry.
Overall, it looks like a very nice result.
Reinhard.
