The paper is clearly written.  I have only a few minor comments.
The introduction is a bit too long, but can stay like it is.  
Page 1, line 14: I think convenient citing here references 3 and 4 (or other more appropriate papers) as recent reviews of the handbag mechanism and novel theoretical approaches.
Page 1, line 41: I would move here the quotations of ref [3,4] given at line 45.
Page 1, line 89: I would drop ‘to measure’ and write: ‘more difficult than pi+ ones for two reasons:’
Page 2, line 3: I would start a new paragraph with ‘This letter focuses …’
Page 2, line 36: I would vite here ref. [11], instead than of doing at line 42. 
Page 2, line 51: I would add a reference to the inner calorimeter paper.
Page 3, line 7: ‘which has been’ -- > ‘which had been’ 
Page 3, line 88: misprint ‘dominent’ instead of dominant.
Page 3, line 94: full stop out at the beginning of the line.
Page 3, line 96: drop one of the two full stops.
