General comment:
Introduction and conclusion of the paper are confusing. In the introduction 1/2 page explanations are given for one of the motivation (first motivation), namely investigation of $\kappa$ exchange, while at the end there are no comparison of presented data with models with and without $\kappa$ exchange, therefore paper do not address at all the first goal set in the Introduction. It is not clear what is the relation of Fig.12 with presented work.
Either the introduction must be revised, or better present the ratio shown in Fig.12 from this data and compare it with theoretical models.
Other comment:
1) p2, left column, paragraph 3 - "with a typical resolution of 0.1%", typical CLAS momentum resolution is ~1%
2) p2, left column, paragraph 3 - "For the g11a experiment, the current in the superconducting coils was set at 1920 A, which gave a 3) maximum magnetic field of 1.8 T.". This is incorrect, at 1920A max field will be ~1T
4) p2, left column, paragraph 3 - "The time resolution of the TOF system was about 80 ps to 160 ps", is not correct it goes from 80 to 240 ns
5) p4,left, line 6 - "based on some Monte Carlo studies", remove "some"
6) p4, left,E - "but typically only one combination will satisfy all kinematic constraints." what are kinematic constraints used here?
7) last paragraph of page 4 and explanations of Fig. 4 on page 5 talks about "two final states" and "both channels" while presented template fits seems are for 3 channels
8) How events in Fig. 4 are selected, these are all 3-pion final state events after SSM or there are other cuts applied
9) p6, right, definitions of variables in Eq.(13) - "the computer live time" it should be "DAQ live time", dead time is not generated by a computer
10) p7, right, line 2 - a missing reference to a figure
11) p7, right, line 2, 1st paragraph of A - extra space after "parameters"
12) p11, right, 2nd paragraph - "from a recent measurement of the beam asymmetry measurement", measurements appears twice
