Dear all,
We are possibly close to find a compromise.
I would just have the suggestion (request ?) to add a footnote on l.1177,
just after "Eight CFF-related real quantities", something like:
\footnote{These quantites are actually called CFFs in this particular work
[refs if necessary].} or something like that, I let you find the best
phrasing.
This would have the merit, besides paying due respect and tribute to
the work of Refs.[32,34,35,36], to possibly avoid to change the title of
section VIII, as well as the first sentence:
"In recent years, various groups have developed and applied
different procedures to extract Compton Form Factors
from DVCS observables" since, with the definition of eq.8,
and since we want to be ultra-orthodox, nobody actually fits
and extracts the so-defined "CFFs".
"Incidentally", the name of Radyushkin is missing in the
2nd reference of Ref.23.
For Michel, the "previous" version of the article I was alluding
to, where the "alternate" definition of CFFs was well into place, was in:
"https://clasweb.jlab.org/membership/publist.php" (first paper
of the list).
Amities,
Michel
