Hi Dave,

Thank you for the comments.   I implemented some form of all your 
suggestions (see below).   I hope to have a revised draft of the paper 
ready in a few days, after other suggested changes are included.

Fixed.

Some but maybe not all were changed as I felt was easy to read.  The 
bigger change was that I realized that mostly what we discuss are 
branching RATIOS not branching FRACTIONS.  That is, a fraction relates 
to the total width and a ratio is a ratio of two fractions.  All 
instances of this inconsistency were changed.

This whole figure was remade to be easier to read.  We got rid of the 
grey bands becasue they are too confusing, especially on the log scales, 
and they are not needed to explain what we did.
