Overall a nice, succinct paper. I have some small suggestions (and one bigger one):
1) Abstract, end of 2nd line: I'd say explicitly "... at pion backward angles in the center of mass". While there may be a few pion events that are backward in the lab, I suspect most are around 90 degrees (no plot to show the theta distribution).
2) l. 128 "CLAS covers A nearly full 4pi..." not 'ON"
3.) l. 131." The e1-6a run had THE maximal electron energy AVAILABLE AT THAT TIME, ..."
4.) l 161 Replace "software/program" with "simulation".
5.) Fig. 2: Why is the cut on MX so wide? Surely there are more background than useful events above MX = 1.0...
6.) l 216 "fitting functions, etc., which CONTRIBUTE TO THE SYSTEMATIC UNCERTAINTY" or "which ARE other sources" (the sentence lacks a verb.
7.) Fig. 4 It might be nice to include a line (dashed or whatever) indicating zero to give a better reference for the eye. More seriously - given the tiny error bars on sigma_u, why did you opt to show only so few data points? You could have easily subdivided them in bins in |u| and/or W or x.
