- the definition of \Delta\phi, the azimuthal angle separation relative to a three-vector is confusing. Can you add a rendering showing what angle is \Delta\phi. The azimuthal angle is about two planes, which vectors are forming planes?
- line 90, something is wrong. Are the first two lines of the Section II misplaced?
- line 93, “… the drift chambers with hits in TOF, the Cherenkove counter, and the calorimeter.”
- line 139, add “targets,” after “Pb”. In general, yes, you are refering to [9] and [11] but still it will be useful to spare a couple senytences describing experiment. Otherwise the text “surprises” reader with inclusion of D, C, Fe, and Pb, as well as target cell ...
- line 160, Analysis question: while understandebly statistics was not enough to do target wall corrections using the emty target data, but it should have been possible to check the assumption that the correction for aluminum is halfway between carbon and iron. Have you done such a check, if not, then why not.
- Eq.(6) to (12), the definitions of C^i, C^{D,j}, and C^i_A are confusing. Make sure notations are consistent.
line 298/299, should it be “up to 11.4%” and “up to 21.5%”, since the median values are very small?
- Figure 1, on the Y-axis, “0.0” of the top graph interferes with “2.0” of the bottom graph.
