Hi John,

That’s pretty strange.

When I count events from each file, I make plots of all of our cuts. The ones here for pass2 are located at: /work/hallc/e1206107/holly/scripts/beanplots/

An example for run 2187 (C 6%, Q2=8) is attached (statistics are low when plotted run by run), and it looks OK.

This was made running off the root files here: /volatile/hallc/comm2017/e1206107/ROOTfiles/pass2

For carbon, we use the Emiss variable: P.kin.secondary.emiss_nuc

You can see this in my bean count counting script:  /work/hallc/e1206107/holly/scripts/Bean_counter2.C which I use with all the cuts to count our good events and fill the histograms in beanplots.

I was under the impression that both quantities should be close to zero. Looking at our pass2 root files for C12 Q^2=8, pmiss is near 0 but emiss is up around 10. Am I missing something?

The text boxes in the histograms are the cuts I used.
