A revised schedule for running between now and December 23rd has been
posted on the JLab Website. This Fall's running has included the
commissioning of two major experiments (HAPPEx-III in Hall A and HKS in
Hall C), along with the ninth C-50 refurbished cryomodule. The sum of
those efforts have squeezed the productivity relative to our (somewhat
optimistic) predictions. To help recover lost time we have modified the
planned running to include beamtime over the Thanksgiving holiday, and
adjusted some of the details of the experiment changeovers and energy
shifts to optimize the physics output. The HKS run has been extended by
9 days to try to recapture useful beamtime that was lost. Details are
provided in the posted schedule. We also note here that we are
delivering fully longitudinal polarization to the HAPPEx-III experiment
(not called out in the scheduling memo), while we will deliver the
traditional "shared pain" polarization solution when PVDIS begins running.

Finally, I note that we are delaying posting of the firm schedule for
the first half of calendar 2010 in the hopes that the final budget for
the lab will be known soon, and we can therefore avoid the need to
change the schedule once it is issued. We are cautiously hopeful that
we can deliver the planned 35 weeks of operation that will support the
draft schedule as posted,
