FACULTY POSITION 

EXPERIMENTAL NUCLEAR PHYSICS

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS, URBANA-CHAMPAIGN

The Department of Physics invites applicants for a tenured or 
tenure-track faculty position in experimental nuclear physics, beginning 
as early as January 2011. The UIUC Department of Physics has a strong, 
varied program in experimental nuclear physics, and scientists from all 
subfields of nuclear physics are encouraged to apply. The successful 
candidate is expected to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and 
graduate levels, have a strong record of publication, and to lead a 
vigorous research program. Applicants should submit a curriculum vita, a 
list of publication, a brief description of research and teaching 
interests and plans, as well as names of three references who can 
provide letters of recommendation. Submission of application is via the
