The First Announcement:
Santa Fe Polarized Drell-Yan Physics Workshop Oct. 31 -Nov. 1st 2010.
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to draw your attention to an upcoming Workshop on
Polarized Drell-Yan Physics, jointly sponsored by Los Alamos National
Laboratory and
RIKEN BNL Research Center.
The workshop will take place in Hilton Santa Fe Hotel, Santa Fe, New
Mexico, Oct. 31- Nov. 1, 2010, right before the Fall APS/DNP meeting.
The workshop will cover topics relevant to Drell-Yan physics including:
- Transverse spin physics: recent progress by experiment and
theory from semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering to polarized proton
collisions.
- Drell-Yan production and measurement
- Accelerators and polarized hadron beams
- Polarized targets for hadron beams
We anticipate an exciting meeting with the latest progress from
experimental and theoretical work.
Please visit the web site and register.
With the best regards,
The Organizers
