The Hadron Physics Group of the Centro de Física Teórica de Partículas 
(Center for Theoretical
Particle Physics) at the Instituto Superior Técnico of the Technical 
University of Lisbon, Portugal,
invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral position. We seek a 
candidate to carry out research
in theoretical hadron physics, in particular on the microscopic 
description of the nucleon and its
excited states.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics, and should have a strong 
background in hadron physics,
with expertise in the numerical techniques required to perform 
calculations of the structure of
hadrons and their interactions.

publications), a letter of research
interest, and include or arrange for three letters of reference to be
