[Cuga] Physics Division Update- A message from Rolf Ent

Dear Colleague,

With both Dennis Skopik and Kees de Jager having signaled their imminent
retirement and the search for their successors ongoing, we have decided
that we should anticipate their departure and appoint an Acting Deputy
Associate Director for Experimental Nuclear Physics and an Acting Hall A
Leader. Both Dennis and Kees have been instrumental in selecting excellent
candidates and have the fullest intent to make this transition a success
and pass on their vast knowledge.

Effective March 1st, Javier Gomez will become the Acting Deputy Associate
Director and Bob Michaels the Acting Hall A Leader. Javier Gomez will also
become the Division Safety Officer.

In addition, to streamline interactions and communications both with various
other Divisions within Jefferson Lab, and with the technical groups within
the Experimental Nuclear Physics Division, Walt Akers will assume the
responsibility of the Acting Technical Interface within the Division.

We would like to recognize the enormous contributions made by Dennis and
Kees towards the successful science program at the laboratory, and also
their excellent support during these transitions. We would like to also
recognize and thank Javier Gomez, Bob Michaels and Walt Akers for their
willingness to take on these considerable tasks. Please lend your support
to them.
