The International Workshop on

        "Physics Opportunities at an Electron Ion Collider"
                          (POETIC 2012)

will take place at the Indiana Memorial Union of Indiana University
in Bloomington, IN, on August 8 - 11, 2012.

The primary goal of this meeting is to continue the advance of the
field of Electron Ion Collider physics through a focused workshop
that will bring together the community, to facilitate collaborations
and consensus, leading to a strong physics case for the future
Long Range Plan.

This workshop will also be a satellite meeting of the Quark Matter
2012 Conference to be held in Washington D.C. on August 13 - 18.
