[Cuga] National Nuclear Physics Summer School- A message from Vincenzo Cirigliano

The 2012 National Nuclear Physics Summer School (NNPSS) is organized by the
Los Alamos National Laboratory and will be held from July 9 to July 20, 
2012 at
St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Students and postdocs within 
a few
years of their PhD are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to 
network
and learn about the future directions of nuclear physics.

The 2012 NNPSS will cover a broad range of topics,  including QCD and
heavy ion physics, hadron structure and spin physics, nuclear structure
and reactions, nuclear astrophysics, fundamental symmetries and neutrinos,
lattice QCD, cold atoms, NIF physics, and medical applications of
nuclear science. Confirmed lecturers include Silas Beane, George Fuller,
Dick Furnstahl, Anna Hayes, Tom Hemmick, Barry Holstein, Chuck Horowitz,
Suzanne Lapi, Zeine-Eddine Meziani, Berndt Mueller, Peter Petreczky,
Sanjay Reddy, Hendrik Schatz, Anna Stasto, Tod Strohmayer, Martin 
Zwierlein.
