Dear Colleagues,

We are writing to invite you to attend the International Workshop on

 	"Physics Opportunities at an Electron Ion Collider"

that will take place at the Indiana Memorial Union of Indiana University
at Bloomington from August 20 to August 22, 2012.

There are a few important updates that I hope to bring to your immediate 
attention.

* **NOTE: DATES CHANGED**
In response to strong concerns we received following the first
announcement from various pertinent communities regarding conflicts with
a number of meetings, we have decided to move the dates of the workshop
to be *August 20-22, 2012*.  There will be an Opening Reception on the
evening of August 19, and Workshop Dinner on the evening of August 21.

* The registration is now open*, with early registration deadline
July 18.  Participants are encouraged to register early.  The same
deadline applies for the discounted rates for hotel reservations.

* Please see the attached announcement (PDF file) for other important
information.

* More detailed and up-to-date information can be found at the Workshop
