[Cuga] Brief Users Group Update- A message from John Arrington

Dear Users Group,

I include below a few brief but important updates/reminders. Please take 
a moment to look them over and pass along the information to anyone you 
think might find it useful.

1) *QCD Town Meeting*:  HOUSING DEADLINE (Aug 14) IS RAPIDLY 
APPROACHING!  For housing and meeting details, please visit the meeting

2) *GHP Dissertation Award in Hadronic Physics*:  The APS Topical Group 
on Hadronic Physics (GHP) recently initiated a biennial Dissertation 
Award in Hadronic Physics.  The nomination deadline is OCTOBER 6th.

3) *UGBOD Charter Update: *The votes are in and both updates (changing 
to a four-person Chairperson line and updating the anti-discrimination 
statement) both passed by significant margins (receiving well over 80% 
support).

4) *Acknowledgement of DOE funding: *The DNP recently distributed a 
reminder of the importance of acknowledging federal support.  Details

5) *JSA Initiative Fund Projects: *The UGBoD is currently reviewing the 
2015 requests, but I want to take this time to remind you of a few
