[Cuga] CAARI 2014: NP08 session call for JLab detector/upgrade abstracts- A message from David Silvermyr

Dear all,

I would like to advertise the upcoming CAARI - Conference on the
Application of Accelerators in Research and Industry, in San
Antonio/Texas, May 25-30. The conference website is:
http://www.caari.com.

CAARI is a conference with a wide span of topics related to
accelerators and applications. I hope the session (NP08) with focus on
RHIC & JLab research/detectors, which I have been asked to coordinate
this year, would be of particular interest for you.
For NP08 there are two invited speakers: Jin Huang and Pawel-Nadel
Turonski, on RHIC & JLab upgrades respectively, and both with a view
towards the future EIC. Contributed abstracts to this session are very
much welcomed and I think it would be great if there would be a few
JLab detector/upgrades presentations and/or posters for this NP08
session.

The abstract deadline is March 1, see also http://www.caari.com/dates
but if you could please let me know (silvermy at ornl.gov) if you are
interested in contributing an abstract preferably sooner rather than
later that would be most appreciated. Also feel free to contact me
with any questions re. the conference and/or the RHIC/JLab session.
