Dear Colleagues,

We are organizing EMMI workshop on
"Cold dense nuclear matter - from short-range nucleon correlations to neutron stars" which will
take place at GSI, Darmstadt on October 13-17th 2015.

The main motivation for the workshop is to explore the
GSI potential for studies of outstanding issues in
high density Nuclear Physics

The topics we would like to cover during the workshop include
- Nuclear Dynamics at Short Distances
- Short Range Correlations
- Non-Nucleonic Degrees of Freedom
- Color Transparency
  - Nuclear Structure calculations
  - Medium Modification
- Inclusive and Sem-inclusive Nuclear DIS

We plan also to have several lectures on outstanding issues in contemporary nuclear physics
and participation of graduate students and young scientists is strongly encouraged.

More details can be found at

If you are interested in attending the workshop please contact one of the organizers for
more details.

Yours Sincerely

Thomas Aumann (GSI) (T.Aumann at gsi.de)
Eli Piasetzky (Tel Aviv) (eip at tauphy.tau.ac.il)
Misak Sargsian (FIU) (sargsian at fiu.edu)
Mark Strikman (Penn State) (mxs43 at psu.edu)
