been retained by the *U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy 
Technology Laboratory (NETL)* to identify their *Deputy Director, 
Laboratory Operations & Chief Operating Officer (COO)*.**……

accelerate the development of technology solutions through strategic

The Deputy Director, Laboratory Operations & COO manages a 
comprehensive, fully-integrated program of laboratory operations and 
services consistent with the NETL mission.  S/he is responsible for the 
development, implementation, integration, and monitoring of products and 
services to support NETL business and laboratory functions.

  * *Providing leadership and direction to a complex multi-functional
    organization with emphasis in four or more of the following areas:
    facilities operations, environment, safety and health, security,
    information technology, budget planning, human resources, and labor

    environment*
