Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to inform about the workshop "THE WEAK SCALE AT A
CROSSROADS: LESSONS FROM THE LHC AND BEYOND"in Munich. It will take
place from 27 May - 21 June 2019 at the Munich Institute for Astro- and
Particle Physics (MIAPP).
This workshop on physics beyond the Standard Model will focus on LHC
physics anddark matter. We plan to bring together experts in model
building andphenomenology andconfront the theories with current
experimental data from theLHC and other experiments, such as direct and
indirect dark matter detectionexperiments, and discuss futuresearches.
If you wish to participate, please apply at

until 27 August 2018.
For accepted participants a per diem of 80 Euro is expected to be
available from MIAPP and therewill be help arranging housing. For
visitors who bring family with one or more minor children, MIAPP can
provide extra support of 40 Euro per day.
Office space will be provided for all participants. We can support
45 participants per week and we will do our best to accommodateyour
application, but we cannot guarantee acceptance.MIAPPrequires
participants to stay at least for two weeks.
The style of the workshop will be similar to those in Santa Barbaraand
Aspen with at most one meeting per day.
Our workshop is preceded by another MIAPP program "BEYOND THE STANDARD
MODEL WITH PRECISION FLAVOUR EXPERIMENTS" 29 April - 24 May 2019, with a
focus on the interplay ofindirect anddirect searches for physics beyond
the Standard Model in low- and high-energyphysics experiments. It is
possible to participate in both workshops, please indicate this on the
registration form if you wish to do so.
We hope to see you in Munich in the summer of 2019!
Sincerely,
Tim Cohen
