Francis G. Slack Award

Nominations are now open for the Southeastern Section of the APS
(SESAPS) Francis G. Slack award. This award was created to honor excellence in service to physics in the Southeast. The award recognizes those who have worked to benefit the physics community of the Southeast in one or more of several areas. Details about the award as well as the nomination guidelines and past award winners can be found at:

The 2019 award will be presented during the 86th Annual SESAPS Meeting to be held in Wrightsville Beach, NC from November 7-9, 2019. 
Nominations for the Slack award should be sent by email to Dave Gaskell
(gaskelld at jlab.org) by August 26.
