[Cuga] Division of Nuclear Physics (DNP) Business Meeting- a message from Ken Hicks

Dear User Group Member,



As you probably know, the APS April meeting is being done as a virtual (online) meeting.  The information about this is available from the APS website (www.aps.org<http://www.aps.org/>).  The purpose of this email is to let you know about the Division of Nuclear Physics (DNP) Business Meeting which will be held online (through Zoom, see the APS website) on Monday, April 20, 5:30-6:30 pm (Eastern time zone).  If you are a member of the DNP, please join the business meeting if your schedule permits.  Some important announcements about DNP Awards will be presented, as well as other information about the Fall DNP meeting (Oct. 29-Nov. 1, 2020, New Orleans).



Immediately following the DNP Business meeting, the DNP Town Meeting will be held from 6:30-7:30 pm (Eastern time zone), also via Zoom.  Representatives of the funding agencies, DOE and NSF, along with a representative from NSAC (Nuclear Science Advisory Committee) will present talks and answer questions at the Town Hall Meeting.  In addition, there will be discussion of proposed changes to the DNP Bylaws.

To specifically join the DNP Business and Town meetings proceed in the following way.

Once on the April meeting website, press the “filter by unit” option and select the DNP button for Monday April 20.  The meeting is the last one listed on this page.
