Dear Colleagues:

We are pleased to share the Jefferson Lab Inclusion Survey results with you.

Given the time lapse, we believe it's prudent to remind you why we conducted the survey. Lab leadership wanted to know what matters to you, because only through inclusion can we tap into the collective brainpower of our community to create breakthrough scientific research. And with a quantitative measure of your perspectives we can take meaningful action to create a more inclusive community. Leadership therefore partnered with "Culture Amp" a renowned organizational behavioral research consultancy, to provide the Jefferson lab community with high quality feedback.

Together, we conducted focus groups, sent out surveys, analyzed the results and shared them with lab leadership, JLab User Group Board of Directors and the Diversity & Inclusion Council, and now with the entire lab community.

The journey doesn't end here, this is just the beginning. We want you to look at the results and use your voice to consider and formulate opportunities for improvement. To aid the conversation, Human Resources and D&I Council members will be coming to each division to discuss the challenges, potential solutions and measurable actions for resolutions.
