1st Bulletin



it is our pleasure to announce the online version of our first joint GlueX-PANDA-EIC computing workshop.  It will take place from 21. - 25. September 2020 with the topic “Machine Learning for Particle Physics Experiments”.  This lecture week is a complement for the in-person workshop we had planned for the beginning of this year but we had to postpone due to the Corona pandemic. Upon success, additional events may be planned that will transition to in-person meetings once it is safe to do so.  The online meeting will consist of 3 to 4 lectures a day each 45 minutes long. In addition we foresee to have a longer session for questions and discussions at the beginning and the end of each working day. The lectures will start at 14:00 (CEST/Berlin) / 8:00 (EDT) and last till 18:00 (CEST) / 12:00 (EDT). We plan also to record the lectures for those who are not able to join them live.  However, live participation is strongly encouraged.



The workshop aims both at beginners in ML and more experienced software developers.
