The second CFNS Summer School on the Physics of the Electron Ion Collider
Location: Center for Frontiers at Nuclear Science, Stony Brook University, USA,
Dates: July 27th - August 5th, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

This is the announcement of the 2nd CFNS Summer School on the Physics of the Electron Ion Collider (EIC).  The school will be held at the Center for Frontiers in Nuclear Science at Stony Brook University on July 27th - August 5th, 2020.
In view of the recent developments on the US Electron Ion Collider, these are exciting times for the young scientists interested in working at the EIC. The school will feature lectures and tutorials on theoretical and experimental topics related to the EIC. The school is ideally suited for advanced graduate students and postdocs in nuclear and particle physics.

Confirmed lecturers so far are:  George Sterman (SBU, USA),  Xiangdong Ji (UMD, USA), Barbara Pasquini (University of Pavia, Italy), Tuomas Lappi (JYU, Finland), Dave Gaskell (JLab, USA), Thomas Roser (BNL, USA).
Review of applications will begin on 15 April 2020 and continue until 25 positions are filled.
