Dear colleagues,
We want to invite you to submit abstracts for the upcoming SESAPS 2021
meeting taking place at the University Center Club on the campus of
Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL on Nov. 18-20, 2021.
At this moment, we are planning an in-person meeting barring worsening
circumstances due to the ongoing COVID 19 situation. We will be
posting safety measures that will be taken during the conference on
the SESAPS 2021 website (http://sesaps21.physics.fsu.edu/)
The meeting includes plenary and parallel sessions covering a broad
range of current topics in physics research, a student poster session,
a graduate program fair, and the presentation of the annual SESAPS
awards in Teaching (Pegram Award), Research (Beams Award), and Service
(Slack Award). Poster presenters will have the chance to compete for a
prize. The meeting banquet will feature a keynote address aimed
towards a general audience. We will also have numerous exciting
special sessions, including a session to promote discussion on
diversity and inclusion in physics.
Postdoctoral researchers, Graduate and undergraduate students are
especially welcome and encouraged to submit an abstract for
presentation. Student travel support is available.
Please find more information about SESAPS 2021 at the conference
website: http://sesaps21.physics.fsu.edu/
Thank you,
On behalf of the local organizing committee.
