Photonuclear Gordon Research Conference (August, 7–12, 2022)

The Photonuclear Gordon Research Conference started in 1959 and has been going strong for six decades. The last edition, the 2020 Photonuclear Gordon Reference Conference, had to be canceled due to the pandemic. This summer, August 7–12, the organizers are pleased to continue this nuclear physics tradition:

The Gordon Research Conferences are unique in their setting. They allow all generations of researchers to closely engage and to discuss current topics in nuclear physics, including often results that not yet been published and shown at other conferences. Many have very fond memories from past meetings, from learning about nuclear physics and networking to enjoying in-depth discussions about ongoing research.

The conference fee, $950, includes lodging and full catering, making it a relatively inexpensive conference. An easy way to get to and from the conference is to fly into Boston Logan airport and take one of the Gordon buses.

If you are planning on coming to the Photonuclear Gordon conference, please remember it is a two-step process that requires that you apply first. Space is limited, so please apply soon!

There are still funds available to support students and postdocs with priority giving to those who wish to present a poster. Please contact Douglas Higinbotham (doug at jlab.org) if you would like more information about how to apply for these funds.
