Attached is an updated short-term accelerator schedule from Sept 2023 to May 2024. The schedule is fully shifted by two months as compared to the original schedule and thus has the beamtime needed to do the upcoming planned experimental program.

The shift was caused a number of work-related pauses to ensure the safety of our staff and users. While the planned work took a bit longer, it was done successfully and in accordance with the new safety rules. At this time, accelerator operations is getting ready to restore the beam to the planned 1047 MeV/linac. This energy works very well for delivering high polarization to multiple halls which is a requirement for the upcoming run.

Some of the work that has been done during this SAD included the installation of two C100’s modules, plasma processing of several modules in the south linac, a new injector booster along with new detectors and targets in the experimental halls. And now we are all looking forward to getting back to physics production!

A new full scheduling memo which will go out to May 2025 is currently in preparation and will be sent out as soon as possible.

Most Sincerely,

Douglas
