Workshop title: Towards improved hadron tomography with hard exclusive reactions
Dates: Aug. 5-9, 2024
Location: ECT* Trento, Italy

We are welcoming you for the third edition of our workshop "Towards improved hadron tomography with hard exclusive reactions" at ECT* in Trento, Italy. The goal of this workshop is to bring together theorists and experimentalists in hadronic physics to discuss recent progress and directions to improve our knowledge of hard exclusive reactions and interpretations such as hadron imaging. We are particularly interested in "novel" reactions that access Generalized Parton Distributions, novel techniques for models and projections, and future measurements.

This edition of the workshop will put a particular emphasis on lattice QCD and new computing techniques for theory and analysis, such as the use of machine learning or quantum computing. We will also discuss, among physics topics, the hard exclusive production of mesons, lepton pairs, and meson pairs, both in fixed-target and in collider experiments, including the process of ultra-peripheral collisions. We will discuss the sensitivity of these reactions to objects such as GPDs, GTMDs, gravitational form factors and spin.

The workshop will take place exclusively in person. Remote attendance as audience is possible, but all the talks will be in person. Each session will end by a discussion and scientific debates around topics discussed during the day. Please contact any of the organizers if you are interested in participating.

Sessions:
    Lattice QCD
    Computing methods
    Hard exclusive meson production
    Compton-like reactions, dilepton production
    Theory / phenomenology
    GPD models and beyond
    Experimental facilities and programs

Organizers: Alexandre Camsonne, Charlotte Van Hulse, Jakub Wagner, Martha Constantinou, Marie Boër
