[Cuga] *2nd Announcement* HEPNP2025 Conference- A message from Ahmed El Alaoui

Dear colleague,

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to
the 9th International Conference on High Energy, Particles and Nuclear
Physics in the LHC Era, previously called High Energy Physics in the LHC
Era (HEP), which will be held from January 6th to 10th 2025 in
Valparaíso, Chile. The conference will be hosted by the Federico Santa
María Technical University (UTFSM) Central Campus. Please note that the
participation is in-person only. For information, registration and

The event aims to bring together young and senior scientists, theorists,
and experimentalists, to discuss recent progress in the field of High
Energy Physics. The program will address a broad range of topics,
covering the main areas of high-energy particle physics, nuclear physics
and beyond, such as:
- Higgs and EW physics.
- Neutrino physics.
- QCD.
- Beyond the Standard Model physics.
- Dark matter particle searches.
- Astroparticles.
- Nuclear physics.
- Heavy Ion Collisions.
- Gravitational waves measurements.
- Particle detectors and instrumentation.
- Future experimental facilities.

We encourage researchers to submit presentations of physics results from
experimental high energy and nuclear physics labs (CERN, IHEP, JLAB,
RHIC, DESY, Fermilab and other institutions) and expect that theory
talks will go beyond the scope of the physics from these facilities.

We cordially invite you to participate in the conference and give a
presentation on any topic relevant to the scientific program and your
research area.

In addition, the location of the event offers its own unique backdrop.
The port of Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage City, is famous for its
hills, late 19th-century architecture, and public elevators which lead
to spectacular views of the bay. Neighboring Viña del Mar offers long
beaches and beautiful gardens.

Abstract submission:
We are now accepting abstracts submission. The deadline is the 30th of
November 2024. Please submit your abstract at your earliest possible
convenience. If you have trouble submitting the abstract through the
Indico website, you can email it to hep-chile at usm.cl.

Registration and conference fee:
Please register through the conference website. The registration
deadline is the 30th of November 2024. The conference fee early payment
is USD 480 (valid until the 31st of October). Afterwards the conference
fee is USD 530. The fee covers the participation to the conference,
local transportation, the welcome kit, the welcome banquet, as well as
coffee breaks and lunches for the duration of the conference. The
conference fee can be paid through the payment website, under the
"Conference Fee payment" link. You will receive a confirmation email
after the validation of your payment. Please send a copy of the receipt
to the conference email: hep-chile at usm.cl.  Please note that the
registration, the fee payment, and the abstract submission are three
independent processes. We encourage you to register at your earliest
possible convenience.

Accommodations:
The arrangement of accommodation is not part of the registration
procedure. A list of hotels can be found under the Accommodation link in
the conference website. If you need assistance with hotel reservation,
please contact our conference administrative assistant Marioly Neira at
marioly.neira at usm.cl.

Visa information:
The participants are requested to familiarize themselves with the visa
requirements well in advance of the conference. Letters of invitation
for visa purposes will be available upon request to the organizers at
hep-chile at usm.cl. January is a wonderful and busy time to visit Chile.
Airfares currently look good but will start rising soon. We recommend to
book tickets as soon as possible. If you have any question related to
