Hello Monte Carlo enthusiasts, alongside this week's Geant4 workshop, the Biomedical Research and Innovation Center (BRIC) is sponsoring a Colloquium with Makoto Asai and Joseph Perl covering Geant4 and the TOol for PArtical Simulation (TOPAS) respectively. TOPAS is applied in all areas of radiation therapy research and is also actively used in medical imaging research, radiation biology, materials science, particle physics and education. Other potential applications include studies of radiation damage to electronics, nuclear physics and astrophysics.

Joseph Perl, the original and ongoing software architect of TOPAS, which wraps and extends Geant4 to make advanced Monte Carlo simulation of all forms of radiotherapy easier to use for medical physicists, will be available for blocks of bookable "open office hours" on Tuesday afternoon, virtually. Joseph is eager to speak with anyone who might be interested in learning more about TOPAS, Geant4 or Simulation Science in general. Please make a request for a time-slot using the following link: Book time with Joseph Perl<https://outlook.office365.com/bookwithme/user/038fd4bdcf5041a891362e7b1c10d8aa@JLAB.ORG/meetingtype/s-MYD9Kvnk2EiGxh3gFMUA2?anonymous&ismsaljsauthenabled&ep=mcard>

Thanks,
Cameron Clarke
