Dear colleagues,

We are contacting you as somebody with an interest in
Lepton-Hadron collisions and Deep Inelastic Scattering, to make you
aware of a document in preparation for submission to the upcoming update
of the European Strategy for Particle Physics. The document aims to give
an overview and vision of the current and possible future landscape of
the field, supporting and adding context to the separate submissions
from the facilities and experiments covered.

The current draft can be downloaded from
http://epweb2.ph.bham.ac.uk/user/newman/DIS_EPPSU_2025.pdf .

We would welcome your comments to the draft, if at all possible
by Friday 7 March. Please bear in mind that the submission rules
restrict the length of the main text to 10 pages (we are currently
slightly over that).

Please email comments to Paul at p.r.newman at bham.ac.uk . Also
feel free to contact any of the other members of the editorial team
(listed below).

The idea for this document grows out of the Deep Inelastic
Scattering conference series. Many of the topics described will be
discussed at the next meeting (DIS'2025) in Cape Town
(https://indico.cern.ch/event/1436959/).

We apologize if you get this message more than once.

         With thanks and best wishes,

Allen Caldwell (MPI Munich)

Silvia Dalla Torre (INFN Trieste)

Rolf Ent (Jefferson Laboratory)

Aharon Levy (Tel Aviv)

Paul Newman (Birmingham)

Fred Olness (SMU Dallas)

Juan Rojo (VU Amsterdam)
