Dear JLab User Community,

We warmly invite early career researchers of all disciplines who are interested in the EIC to register for the Early Career portion of the EIC User Group meeting. The Early Career meeting will take place from the afternoon on Friday, July 11, until noon on Sunday, July 13, immediately prior to the beginning of the EICUG meeting/ePIC Collaboration meeting at Jefferson Lab in Newport News, Virginia. We are planning for a Sunday afternoon adventure to Fort Monroe, all are welcome to join.

Registration will be handled via the Jefferson Lab conference system, the link to register for the Early Career meeting: https://misportal.jlab.org/ul/conferences/generic_conference/registration.cfm?conference_id=EarlyCareerWorkshop25

This is a separate registration from the main meeting. Note that registering for the early career meeting is free!

In addition to registration, participants wishing to attend the meeting in-person must fill out the Jefferson Lab site access form: https://misportal.jlab.org/jlabAccess/guest_signin

The form should be submitted at least seven days prior to your arrival at Jefferson Lab.

The developing Indico agenda of the meeting can be found: https://indico.jlab.org/event/938/

We hope to accommodate every early career researcher who wishes to give a talk. As in previous years, there will be prizes for the best student talks. This year we ask that presentations include an additional 1-2 slides at a "TED-talk" level, explaining your work as you would to a broad audience and how your work fits into the EIC ecosystem.

Please let us know if you have any questions! Looking forward to seeing you in Newport News!

Sincerely,

The EICUG EC Meeting Organizing Committe,

Bill Li, Jennifer Rittenhouse West, Henry Klest, Douglas Higinbotham
