Advanced Fellowship position at the University of Edinburgh

The nuclear physics group at the University of Edinburgh is seeking
applications for a 2 year (extendable)  Advanced Research Fellowship
position. This prestigious fellowship is supported by the Scottish
Universities Physics Alliance (SUPA). The successful candidate is
expected to have a Ph.D in nuclear physics, applied nuclear physics
or a related discipline. The fellow will primarily develop and lead
research programmes in nuclear physics and/or applied physics at the new
Scottish Centre for the Application of Plasma-based Accelerators
(SCAPA). The candidate will also have the opportunity to carry out research
aligned with one or more of the current themes in the nuclear physics group
at Edinburgh. These comprise programmes in nuclear astrophysics, exotic 
nuclei,
dark matter searches and hadron physics.
