Experimental Hadron Physics
at the Helmholtz-Institut für Strahlen- und Kernphysik

The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a tenured
Professor position (W2) in experimental Hadron and Nuclear Physics. The 
successful
applicant is expected to complement our existing strengths in Hadron 
Physics with
electromagnetic probes in the framework of the SFB/TR 16 “Subnuclear 
Structure of
Matter”. In the long term contributions to the future FAIR-project are 
expected.

The candidates are expected to teach regular courses in experimental physics
(Diplom, B.Sc., M.Sc.) and support undergraduate education in the 
respective areas.

Formal requirements are regulated by § 46 HG (NRW). The University of
