*Tenure Track Faculty Position in Experimental Nuclear Physics*

*at the University of Connecticut in Partnership with Jefferson Lab*

The Physics Department at the University of Connecticut, in partnership 
with Jefferson Lab,
  invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in 
experimental nuclear physics.
We are searching for an individual with a primary interest in the 
physics program of hadronic
and nuclear physics carried out at Jefferson Lab.  The successful 
individual will be expected
to build a strong research program that will enhance the current 
programs at the
University of Connecticut and Jefferson Lab.  The primary academic 
appointment will be at the
UConn Storrs campus with expectations to conduct research both at UConn 
and JLab.

The position is a nine-month tenure-track position at the University of 
Connecticut intended
primarily for a junior faculty member at the Assistant Professor level; 
however, exceptional
candidates may be considered for an Associate Professor or a Full 
Professor position.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in physics or a related field, have a 
demonstrated ability
  to initiate and lead research, an established record of publications 
in scientific journals,
and good teaching skills.  Salary will be based on qualifications and 
experience.
The appointment is intended to start in August, 2013.
