Experimental particle, astroparticle, or nuclear physicist

The School of Physics and Astronomy at Tel Aviv University invites 
applications for a tenure-track faculty position in experimental 
particle physics, astro-particle physics, or nuclear physics. With this 
position, we seek to diversify our current research portfolio and 
strengthen our detector-development program. The experimental activities 
of the Department of Particle Physics include research at ATLAS, BaBar, 
JLAB, ILC, CLIC, and FRIB, commissioning of ATLAS detector components, 
and detector-technology development for future facilities. We are 
looking for applicants with outstanding scientific accomplishments and 
demonstrated leadership ability to start a new effort complementing our 
current program. Strong preference will be given to applicants with 
detector-development experience.

The position is tenure-track with an initial appointment of three years, 
and will be at the level of assistant or associate professor, 
commensurate with the applicant's experience. The position is open until 
filled, although hiring is expected by October 2015.
