*Job description: *
The particle physics group at University of Houston is seeking a 
candidate to fill an opening for

a postdoctoral researcher in experimental neutrino physics. The 
successful candidate will be
expected to work with graduate students while also championing their own 
analysis efforts. Research
will be focused on neutrino-nucleus interaction and neutrino oscillation 
measurements with the
T2K, ICARUS, and DUNE experiments. There will also be opportunities to 
work on hardware
tasks, use high performance computing facilities, and develop machine 
learning based analysis
techniques. The position will be based in Houston, but will include 
frequent travel to Japan
(T2K) and/or Fermilab (ICARUS and DUNE) for meetings, shifts, and 
hardware installation and
maintenance. Opportunities for additional travel to CERN and other 
locations for meetings and
conferences we be available as well. The initial appointment will be for 
two years, with the
possibility of renewal. Candidates should have a PhD in experimental 
particle physics, or a
related field. The position is available on or after Sept., 1st 2018.
