[Cugapost] Medical Physics Postdoctoral position at UVA - Department of Radiation Oncology

The Department of Radiation Oncology<https://med.virginia.edu/radiation-oncology/> at the University of Virginia is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the Medical Physics Division with strong computing skills as well as experience in image processing, image segmentation, machine learning, optimization, and/or automated radiotherapy treatment planning. The successful candidate will work on an NIH funded project which quantifies permissible image segmentation delineation variability for the task of radiotherapy treatment planning and develops treatment plan optimization methods which account for delineation uncertainty.  The selected candidate will have the opportunity to shadow clinical physicists and participate in clinical quality assurance and commissioning activities.

Review of applications will begin on July 28, 2022, but the position will remain open until filled.  The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment.
