Hi all,
I just realized I should include a short comment about the errors from background subtraction. I would include a paragraph in the systematic error section of the LHRS analysis. It would read:
The largest contribution to the systematic errors comes from the uncertainty in subtracting the background signals in scattering from nitrogen and pair production in scattering from 3He. The largest contribution comes from the positron background, for an absolute error of ~2pb/MeV/sr at the lowest bin in Ep. Adding these contributions in quadrature with the values listed in Table () gives the error band shown in figure ().
Again, I would want to submit this addition to Seamus by sometime this week.
