Hi Greg, Beni,

Another update:
I confirmed with both JLab procurement and Shoreline Industries that we could use a JLab credit card for ordering the wooden brackets. If we do that, we don't have to go through JLab's procurement system and it may be slightly faster.

To sum up both options with the most up-to-date details:

Aluminum:
Source: SendCutSend website
Cost: $3,123.57
Estimated lead time: 2 weeks
Estimated delivery date: November 6.

Wood:
Source: Shoreline Industries
Cost: $3,746
Estimated  lead time: 1 - 1.5 week lead time
Estimated delivery date: November 1.


Just let use know which option to pursue.

I have received quotes for the missing crate brackets for wood and aluminum (both attached).

For the wood, Shoreline Industries states it would take one week for them to do the work (not in quote but I have it in writing in an email). However, there will most likely be an additional week for the procurement to go through JLab’s system. With that I think we’ll receive the brackets the week of November 6.

For the aluminum, the quote states 5-10 days lead time on large orders. This can be ordered with a credit card, so there’s no extra time needed for the procurement portion. I think we would receive the aluminum brackets around November 6, too.



Which ever option you decide on, we will pursue, so just let us know.
