Hi,

 The heaters referred to on drawing AJE1005 sht 2 of 3.
They Watlow FireRod Heater 400W, 120Vac, and have a measured resistance of 31.3 to 29.7 Ohms. (Using a fluke 870 DMM with lead resistance of 0.3 Ohms.)
The Thermocouple temperature sensors for the control of the heaters are J series type 22, from Watlow also.
Measured resistance of the J type sensors were 11.9 Ohms positive basis and 7.5 ohms negative basis.

Hall C has a few Honeywell UDC3300 temperature controllers that can be used to control the heaters. Two inputs and two 5A @ 120Vac relays outputs.These are old models but still work.

A test setup of the UDC330 and the heaters would be a good thing to do now. If someone from the DSG could take this on it would be helpful as Heidi is out for two months.

If the turret stand could be raised 2-3 that would help Mindy out with inspecting/repairing the D-Sub connectors at the bottom.


For the top connectors who should order them? The only cable I don't know yet is the heater, do we have the specs on this? Mainly to figure out voltage/current requirements.
