hello,
i guess i'm missing the point.
if sabatie wants to buy the ticket in the next two days, how does it help letting him know next week whether the temporary gas system would be ready or not.
unless of-course we run time backwards!
george mentioned he'd "upon DA's approval order components"
how many components and how long will this take george?
of-course, you don't know that till the DA sez so!
also, marc do we have the gas, and an adequate quantity of it?
could both you george and marc let us know how long your endeavor would require.
am i suffering from presque vu , jamais vu , or deja vu , or all three at the same time.
yeah, life would be simpler <=> if we knew what we were doing!
but why simple when ......

Hi George,
Matt Marchlik is the DA that has been assigned to Hall B. He will look at the MVT temporary system next week and let you know if it will be qualified by the end of May.
Regards,
Bob

Hi Franck,
The MVT gas supply for testing in the EEL uses 10% C4H10 in argon pre-mix gas cylinders. The gas is on order and should be delivered in 2-3 weeks. The setup is very basic. I have attached the gas supply P&I diagram along with the components spreadsheet. Before this setup can be used, it must undergo pressure systems analysis by the pressure systems design authority (DA). Once the DA has completed his work and turns the system over to u, we can assemble and use it.
The DA for this system is Bob Miller.
Thanks,
George

Dear George,
Could you please remind me what the gas system for the EEL is planned to be? I remember it's supposed to be premix bottle that you have ordered or am I wrong? What is missing to flow gas in the EEL?
Best,
Franck

Hi Bob,
The Saclay team is requesting that gas for testing in EEL rm 124 be ready to flow on May 29. Is this doable?
Thanks,
George

Dear George,
We will absolutely need the gas in the eel building for May 29th. Indeed all the saclay team will come to assemble the MVT and SVT on May 29th.
Concerning the test I would like to run in the eel with the forward micromegas, there is no real rush since I have plenty of software code to develop before. It would just be perfect to have the gas for May 22nd if I want to do the test before the Saclay team arrives.
Cheers,
Maxime

Greetings Maxime,
The next step is for pressure systems analysis. The pressure systems design authority has the test setup P&I diagram and components list. Once the pressure systems design authority, DA for short, completes the work, we can assemble and use the setup.
Bob Miller, Hall B Engineer, is the DA for this test setup. He is also the DA for the FT tracker test setup and the full MVT gas mixing system. Once the pressure system analysis is completed, we can begin purchasing components.
Can you give me a time line of when you will need the gas?
Cheers,
George

Dear George,
I am a colleague of Franck SABATIE and I arrived from Saclay 2 days ago. I would like to discuss with you to know what remains to be done concerning:
- Gas in the eel building:If possible I would like to run a few test with the FMT before everybody arrives from Saclay. Moreover it is better to have the gas ready when everybody will arrive late May.
-And also just to know what is the status of the gas system in the Hall B.
I apologize if you might have sent this information recently to Stephan or Franck, but I am not always in copy of the e-mails. I am available on Tuesday, wednesday afternoon, thursday and Friday afternoon.
I wish you a nice day,
Best regards,
Maxime
