[Dsg-ft] Chiller temperature problem

Hi Raffaella,
The following are responses to your questions:
1. The temperature set point was always at 6 degrees C. When the temperature spikes occurred, the setpoint did not change. The chiller was connected to the detector and flowing liquid, however once the increase or decrease in temperature occurred, we immediately disabled the interlocks to bring the temperature of the liquid inside of the chiller back to 6 degrees C.
2. As Brian mentioned, this is the only one available that we are aware.
3. We checked the connection to the analog card and also swapped the card to the second connector on the bus cable, neither of which solved the problem.
I have attached a presentation I gave during the DSG weekly meeting on the FT status. The presentation includes information on the chiller temperature problem and the tests that were done.
Regards,
Amanda

Hi Raffaella,
Correct, I installed the LRZ 912 module back in Nov 2016. This module was originally purchased for the Lauda chiller used by the SVT, but since the SVT is using an LRZ 913 (RS232 module) and its chiller only has a single slot the card was available for use by the FT.
This is the only available one that I'm aware of; we only bought one of these modules for the SVT as originally we weren't sure which module we were going to use.
