[Dsg-ft] Addition of condensation sensor to FT Hardware Interlock System

Hi Raffaella,

I've increased the delay between HV and LV turnoff to 10 seconds. This is variable accessible from the LabVIEW expert screen.

Also available from the LabVIEW expert screen is the interlock delay trip time. When enabled, this requires any signal to exceed an adjustable delay timer setting before tripping an interlock. There is an individual delay timer for each interlocked signal. This helps if a signal has voltage spikes, etc. The delay timer is currently turned off on the FT calorimeter & hodoscope.

A users manual on the system is being written.

Hi Pete,
thanks for sending the updated chart. The diagram for the new sensor looks good to me. Would it be possible to increase the delay between the HV turnoff and the LV turnoff from 2 to 10 sec? this would also apply to the humidity and temperature interlocks. I noticed in fact recently that the HV ramp down takes more than the 2 sec with the settings we have on the caen boards at the moment.
Thanks,
Raffaella

A condensation sensor is being added to the FT Hardware Interlock System. The attached fault chart for the calorimeter has been updated for the addition of the condensation sensor.

If condensation is detected, the interlock system will :
1) Disable Chiller
2) Disable calorimeter HV
3) Wait ~ 2 Seconds
4) Disable calorimeter LV.

To support the new sensor, the LabVIEW and EPICS user interfaces will have condensation interlock enable/disable controls, signal status, and latched interlock indicators. In addition, the new signals will be added to the Mya datalogger.
