marc with regards to your e-mail, here are some clarifications.

    1. @ 0801 hrs SVT MFCs on the space frame were disconnected by Hall B engineering, which is why the cRIO on the space frame hung up.
    2. @ ~1030 hrs gotra noted the gas wasn't flowing to the SVT and contacted peter.
    3. tyler, pablo, amanda, marc restored the cRIO at ~1100 hrs.
    4. so, the MVT was without gas for ~3 hours.

Recommendations:

    1. Hall B detector managers should be informed and should inform their counterparts via the mailing lists prior to any work on any component of the the gas system, so that t appropriate measures can be taken to ensure the safety of the detector.
    2. MVT and HTCC should invest in owning their own cRIO system, so that all systems are independent, see table.

Maxime,

I am passing this information to the Hall B Gas community. Some work was
done to some of the mass flow controllers which are on the same cRIO as
the MVT. The gas system has been designed with a fix for mfc related
issues, so during some circumstances someone who is on-call may be
required to reboot one of the cRIOs, to reset the mfc software.

Additional training needs to be conducted if this is a potential problem
for the MVT. I will bring this up during our meeting, please talk with
Bob and Stepan so this information is known to all.
