Dear Ruben, 

Before adding shared variable monitoring to the Torus Fast-Daq cRIO (as was added to both Solenoid cRIOs last week), it would good to upgrade the Torus cRIO to the most recent firmware and base software. 

During the upgrade, the Fast-Daq cRIO will be restarted several times. The upgrade is expected to take about 2 hours to fully bring the cRIO back to normal operation, but it would be best to reserve more time in the event issues come up and the software needs to be reverted. 

Could this upgrade to the Torus Fast-Daq cRIO be started this afternoon?
