Hi Renuka,

Solenoid PLC code was modified with the new conversion factors.
Actual readouts for the hall sensors:

HS1 ~0.08 G
HS2 ~ 0.02 G
HS3 ~ 1.33 G

Best Regards,
Pablo

The calibration data for all the all sensors in in the following folder:
M:\hallb_eng\CLAS12\Magnets\Solenoid\Controls and Wiring\Hall Sensor location
The data is in PDF format, if you need the calibration table I have to convert it to excel.
There is a slight change in the conversion factor
HS1 (Serial Number 58791) 10.11 mV/Tesla (instead of 9.82 in my previous email)
HS2 (Serial Number 58796) 10.28 mV/Tesla
HS3 (Serial Number 58795) 10.03 mV/Tesla

Hello Nick and Pablo,
The graph for mV vs Gauss (T) is linear, therefore instead of using the table we can use the factor (mV/T) as well.
But, if it is easier for you to use the table, I can create the calibration tables as well.
Please let me know what would you prefer?
Thanks
Renuka

Hi Pablo,

Check the Torus code for how we scaled the Hall sensors.

S:\hallb_eng\CLAS12\Magnets\Torus\JLab Torus\C&I_Torus\Controls_&_Wiring\Calibration Information\HallSensorCalData

In the above folder I have an excel sheet where I transferred the cal data from data sheet to get a best fit line for each sensor. Let me know if you have any questions.

Best Regards,

Nick

There's no calibration at all for the HS in either the Torus or Solenoid LabVIEW code.

The PLC should be getting the HS signals in voltage, not magnetic flux.
